From Chaos, Order

So the piles of yarn have been color sorted into multiple zip locks with directions to myself: knit sweater from this, look for pattern for that, try something freestyle with all those odds and ends in blue....

Well, guess what? It was a drab, dark, cool weekend so I actually did the odds and ends of blue while watching movies. It's my version of Justify and it was fun to make and even better, is almost finished - a great relief as everything I've knitted of late has been frogged before completion and vanished into the great abyss of "the yarn cupboard" (or the 'yarn basket' or the 'yarn box under the bed' or the one in the garage, in the closet, in the back room, next to the fireplace, etc). There are many dark holes containing yarn and yarn supplies around this house. So the stash buster wrap is nearly complete. Due to the nature of it, a moebius, I haven't been able to try it on until I finish the edging which would have been done last night had I not run out of the yarn I was edging it with. I didn't feel that a change mid-edge would be esthetically pleasing so I was forced to run to the store this afternoon at lunch to buy another skein which I will only use about 50 yards of. This is of course NOT stash-busting, rather the reverse, but ... I'll use it again eventually. I intend to finish the edging tonight and will be bitterly disappointed if it turns out to be crap so ... let us believe....

In other good news, Cindie at EweniquelyEwe posted a little bit on her blog about my spinning efforts with her yarn and added the photo which can be seen below. The blog entry ishere. Very kind of her to mention my beginner efforts.

Hopefully I will return tomorrow, triumphant, with a photo of my new masterwork.
