Oh my gosh, it's been a long time

It's been almost exactly 6 months since I last posted. Obviously much has happened since then, too much to get into, so...

What's new?

Well, I'm redesigning my Etsy shop and planning to add new items and spend more time on it. Look for the remodel in about a week if all goes well. I'm working with a delightful graphics designer, also on Etsy. Her shop can be found here: http://www.digitalpress.etsy.com. She is incredibly patient and wonderful to work with. Today at home, I'm working on Valentine pendants and as I do am scribbling down new ideas for gifts and crafts. It's so fun. Never enough time, but well worth what I put into it if only for the fun factor.

I bought myself a spinning wheel (Ashford Kiwi) around Thanksgiving and have been teaching myself to spin. My first efforts were very, very twisty but the second batch of yarn was better. From there I've moved on to some silk roving that I bought a long time ago. It's called Woodland Elves by Enchantedknoll.etsy.com - beautiful blues, greens, and earth tones with cream accents. I have no idea what I'll be doing with it when it's spun --- maybe put it on etsy for someone else to figure it out?
